"Your DNTO" gets exposed (Dec. 14)
Whether it's your back, your hair, or something a bit more obvious, most people have a "private part" of their bodies that they'd prefer not to expose. But this week, "Your DNTO" shares our best stories - and yours - of making those privates public. Read on to find out what's on the show...
DNTO listener Misha tells us how she inadvertently showed a bit more than she intended... on a busy streetcorner, between two popular coffee shops.
When we do it by choice, why do we voluntarily expose ourselves? Lynne calls the Your DNTO Listener Line to explain why she flashed her co-workers.
You might remember this story from last spring: an Iranian cleric made headlines for saying that "immodestly dressed women" were responsible for all the earthquakes in the world. When university student Jennifer McCreight heard that, she decided to put his theory to the test. So she devised a rather unique science experiment that turned into a worldwide Internet phenomenon. We'll talk with Jennifer McCreight about "Boobquake."
Can nudity be a weapon? Alex Freedman tells us how a little exposure can rid you of unwanted company.
So besides the obvious, what part of your body do you not like to reveal in public? Sook-Yin takes her mic to you to see what you're feeling shy about.
When Mary-Ann Kirkby was ten yeas old, her parents left their Hutterite colony to start a new life. One of the things that was left behind was Mary-Ann's bonnet...otherwise know as her "mitz." She'll tell us about exposing her "private part" - her hair. (Pictured below: a young Mary-Ann in her mintz.)

What do your kids call their "private parts" - and what do you do when they decide to make them public? Actor, mom, and amateur anatomy expert Diane Flacks comes by to help us answer some of those questions.
Trudi tells us how her son came to know the proper names for all the sensitive parts of his anatomy... but got hung up on the "jackpot."
Artist Teresa Posyniak calls in with a couple of stories from working with the nude in art... including the story of why her son was pretty sure she was gay, and the story of how one of her son's classmates became convinced her mom was a nude art model.
When Tamara Hoover posed nude for an artist, she thought the photographs were charming and tasteful. But then the pictures were put on the Internet. That's when Tamara discovered that revealing your privates online has consequences... especially if you're a teacher. She'll tell us her story.
DNTO listener Walter shares his (much happier) experiences with being a nude model... including the best nude modeling joke he's ever heard.
Lisha Hassanali started a new job last fall. Everything was going well until one day, when she got up from her open plan office desk and accidentally exposed a very private secret.
And here's this week's playlist:
Two Hours Traffic - "I Feel Naked Without My Cell Phone"
Jim Bryson and the Weakerthans - "Wild Folk"
Barenaked Ladies - "A Word For That"
Garou - "You Can Leave Your Hat On"
