Debbie has a new blog post about Corrie Crazy up on debbietravis.com!The second I hear the opening music of Coronation Street I get a warm, nostalgic glow. Then the sight of those oh-so-familiar rooftops followed by the thick Lancashire accents fills me with childhood memories.
Well can you imagine my delight when the producers of the 50th
anniversary special asked me to host 'Corrie Crazy'. The first episode
of Coronation Street aired in 1960, in black and white of course, and
was a runaway hit from the get go. It arrived in Canada ten years later.
This documentary is everything Corrie, from the fans to the actors. We
filmed the literally crazy Coronation street fans across this country.
Now, I am a fan of the show but nothing like the Canadian fans. They
know everything and I mean everything about this series.
