School bus collision in Chase sends 11 students to hospital

Getting ready for school today may be a bit difficult for some students at Haldane elementary, in Chase.

Monday afternooon, on the bus trip home, a van collided head-on with a schoolbus carrying 34 students.

The impact sent 11 kids to hospital, and did serious damage to the bus, which had to be towed away.

To get the latest on how everyone is doing, Daybreak host Chris Walker reached Terry Sullivan, the superintendant of the Kamloops-Thompson School District.
