More Than One Way Home Part 8: You Belong

Fr. Pat prepares for Ash Wednesday

Easter is the most important season in Catholic calendar.

The season begins with Lent- a time when most of the faithful give up something in order to acknowledge a sense of gratitude for what they have.

Eventually, when Easter rolls around, one will feel a sense of renewal, of having died to an old life to begin again...or so the belief goes.

In this episode we meet Fr. Pat Monette, pastor St. Charles Garnier Catholic church in Kelowna's mission.

Fr. Pat invited Madonna Hamel to chat with him while he burns last year's Palm Sunday palms to make Ash Wednesday's ashes.
