About the Host
A former staff writer for the Cairo Times, he covered human rights, politics and business in Egypt and throughout the Middle East. He started as a freelancer for CBC News, worked as a reporter and announcer for CBC Victoria, and hosted the CBC morning show for Northern BC.
When he's not on the radio, Chris can be found in the garden or in the kitchen. He also enjoys running and field hockey.
Chris grew up on Galiano Island near Victoria. He holds an undergraduate degree in American History from UVic and a graduate degree in journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa.
Chris lives in downtown Kelowna with his wife Claire and their young son Ethan.
