Election Connection: Vernon and Salmon Arm

In Vernon, Mayor Wayne Lippert is running for a third term. But the current mayor of Salmon Arm, Marty Bootsma has decided not to run again, which opens that position to other candidates and councillors.

Controversial developments will likely be a hot topic in both cities, as the CBC's Adrian Nieoczym explains to Daybreak guest host, Valerie McTavish.
