B.C's Agriculture minister reviewing proposed ALR changes
He's now responsible for proposed changes to the Agricultural Land Reserve.
If passed, Bill 24 would split the ALR into two zones.
Initially, The B.C. Agriculture Council endorsed the proposed changes, but reversed that position.
That council represents 14 thousand B.C. farmers.
Norm Letnick spent 8 hours meeting with the council Wednesday.
We spoke to him Thursday.
