Lake Country takes out sheds and cabanas

The district of Lake Country has had enough of illegal sheds, cabanas and other structures that dot the beach of Okanagan Lake.

On Wednesday, district staff began tearing down the structures on public beaches and that has some long-time locals fuming.

They built some of these buildings years ago - long before there was a District of Lake Country.
