On Wednesday, March 6, we published a story about FortisBC's application to the BC Utilities Commission to install smart meters in the Southern Interior.

In that story, we incorrectly identified a company that FortisBC hired to assess the safety of electromagnetic frequency radiation. We identified the company as Exponent PR. In fact, the company retained by FortisBC is Exponent Engineering and Scientific Consulting. The two companies are unrelated.  Here is a link to the Exponent report on smart meters.

We apologize for the error.
