Kelowna man loses eye in jail attack

A Kelowna man in prison at Kamloops Regional Correction Centre lost an eye in a violent attack last week. Michel Fougere, 21, was awaiting trial at KRCC for breaking his bail conditions.

His step father says he had never been in jail before

Last Thursday Fougere was playing scrabble with his bunkmate when he was attacked. Daybreak reporter Brady Strachan talked with Fougere's step-father Enrico Cavina.
