Election Connection: West Kelowna

Economic development and relations with the Westbank First Nation are the big issues for West Kelowna.

The big challenge will be revitalizing the historic Westbank town centre in the face of big box development on neighbouring Westbank First Nation land.

The district is getting ready for its third-ever election since becoming an independant municipality in 2007. Wade Paterson covers West Kelowna for the Capital News.
