District of West Kelowna opposes proposed land swap

The District of West Kelowna is trying to stop a proposed land exchange between the province and the Westbank First Nation.
According to officials from the District of West Kelowna, the province wants to give up almost 700 acres of crown land in exchange for 8 acres of reserve land.
Part of this reserve land was used to build the Westside Road Interchange.
The map below illustrates the proposed land swap.

Daybreak's Marion Barschel speaks to West Kelowna Mayor Doug Findlater about the proposed land exchange.
