Highglen fire update: new homes for pets, new school for students

Spark the fire-bellied toad is one of a number of class pets who survived a fire at a Prince George elementary school.

On Monday, a fire prompted the evacuation of Highglen Montessori Elementary. Now students are discovering they will have to relocate across town for the forseeable future. Also in search of new space: class pets, including rabbits, a gecko, and a fire-bellied toad. Daybreak's Adrien Mrdeza spoke with one of the parents leading the care efforts, Darci James.
