Symphony connects children from Venezuela's slums to Prince George's inner city

El Sistema is a renowned Venezuelan social program that
fights poverty by providing free instruments and music lessons to any child who wants to learn. Tens of thousands of kids from slums and inner cities and the suburbs take part. Recently a trio of young musicians from El Sistema visited Prince George and played a free show at the drop-in center for low income kids from the city's "hood." Adrian Mrdeza brings us the story.
