PQ insider on his party's rough ride
Fractious times for Quebec's sovereignty movement and in particular for le parti quebecois. Its MNAs met this week in Saguenay to try to shake off the effects of a series of high-profile resignations in June, the birth of a new sovereignty movement which is sharply critical of the PQ's referendum strategy, and a string of disastrous poll numbers. Those polls suggest the PQ sinking like a stone, now trailing far behind the Liberals who until recently were looking beleaguered. We spoke to Yves-Francois Blanchet, PQ MNA for Drummond.
