Abdelrazik campaigns to get off UN blacklist
The lone Canadian on the United Nations' Al-Qaeda and Taliban Sanctions Committee blacklist is campaigning to get his name removed. Montrealer Abousfian Abdelrazik was added to the list in 2006 over allegations he was a possible Al-Qaeda operative. He's since been exonerated by the Sudanese government, CSIS, and the RCMP. Daybreak hears from Abdelrazik and a member of a delegation travelling to New York City to petition the UN on his behalf.
