Laundry and the law
Quebec's long-term care facilities for seniors are about to be hit by a massive class action suit -- and what's surprising about it is that it's not the first time. It turns out some of the government-run facilities for seniors have been refusing to do their residents' laundry unless they're paid an extra surcharge. That's laundry for seniors who are obliged to stay in public facilities because they can't live independently.
