Dogs gone deluxe
St-Lambert sees itself as trailblazing on the issue of space for dogs to run and play. The mayor's put taxpayers' money where his mouth is -- $130,000 in renovations of the Seaway Dog Park. People who live in St-lambert and have a licensed dog obtain a magnetic card allowing access to the park. Non-residents pay a fee of 115 dollars a year. The park is the envy of people like Meagan Smith, who lives just a few blocks away from Seaway Dog Park in neighbouring Longueuil. With her Australian Sephard Ayda.
