You've probably heard of Centraide - it raises money for non-profits across the Montreal region - it's slogan is people, who help people - who help people. But now - a number of non-profit health organizations in Montreal are very worried - because Centraide has announced it's no longer going to help them. Instead - Centraide recently informed them that it's cutting their funding. Dominique Synott is an oncological surgeon at Hopital Sacre Coeur. She's also a volunteer with l'Organisation Multiressources des Personnes Atteintes de Cancer or OMPAC. It's an organization that works with cancer patients. And one of the groups that's losing it's Centraide funding.
