Anne Frank's chestnut tree to bloom in Montreal
The story of Anne Frank is an iconic one, of perseverance in a time of darkness. She and her family spent two and a half years hiding in an attic in Amsterdam. A little piece of that story is coming to Montreal. A sapling grown from a chestnut tree - the only thing she could see outside her window - will be planted outside the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Montreal.
