We first spoke to Albert Hippolyte last December.
He had just been released from hospital after being treated for injuries to his face.
He got those injuries when he was leaving a bar on Ste.Catherine street.
Hippolyte told us at the time that a bouncer had dragged him down a flight of stairs and kicked him in the face.
Hippolyte also told us he was determined to see the case through.
He's discovering that the wheels of justice turn slowly.
Last week a man appeared in court on assault charges.
He pleaded not guilty.
So now the case will go to trial and Albert Hippolyte will have to testify.
