Sun dog spotting

We broadcast from the basement of the Radio-Canada building. Meaning we rely on the feed from a video camera to tell us what the weather's like outside.

Early this morning, just after sunrise, we noticed something strange on our weather channel. It looked like there were two suns in the sky. A few Daybreak listeners wrote in to say you also saw two suns.  We reached astronomer and science writer Andrew Fazekas, who told us what we were looking at: a sun dog.
