Born during deportation stay
Sayon Camara, the 42-year-old Guinean granted a deportation stay in April, has given birth. Her baby boy was born on Friday.
Camara is married to Canadian citizen Abdul Sow, but immigration officials denied his application to sponsor her. Officials have said they believe the marriage is a sham.
Camara was granted the deportation stay because of medical reasons.
Daybreak spoke to her lawyer, Stewart Istvanffy, about what might happen next.
