Switching signals

People who don't have cable TV in Montreal have been having some problems lately.

There are plenty of them.

Of all the cities in Canada only Windsor, Ontario has more people who use an antenna to tune into a television broadcast.

Right now, some people within range of the transmitter on top of Mount Royal are experiencing technical difficulties.

The antenna on the mountain is owned by CBC which rents space to other networks.

The problem: CBC is "modernizing" the tower, to get ready to transmit digital signals.
