Daybreak Alberta host Chris dela Torre spoke with puppeteer, Peter Balkwill. The Calgary native and Old Trout Puppet Workshop member is set to take over as curator of the International Festival of Animated Objects after the 2015 edition of the festival ends this weekend.

Chris also spoke with writer Lori Beattie about her new guidebook, Calgary's Best Walks. It features 35 new and little-known urban jaunts and nature strolls in and around Calgary. Lori is launching her book at Shelf Life Books in downtown Calgary, 1302 4 St SW, March 18 at 7pm.
