On Monday, the long-time editor of Cosmopolitan magazine, Helen Gurley Brown died. She was 90 years old.
To some, she was a ground-breaking feminist who transformed women's media. To others, Cosmo just created a new set of gender stereotypes for another generation.
While pundits pondered how best to remember the icon this week, one thing that wasn't up for debate was the impression she left on women coming of age in the past 50 years.
