Comment: Aidan Flax-Clark on Mugabe and Tourism

As far as reputations go, Robert Mugabe's could use a little work. The leader of Zimbabwe is accused of human rights abuses and is blamed for the economic ruin of his country, but last week, Mugabe was recognized by the United Nations World Tourism Office.

According to the UNWTO, the recognition isn't much more than an open letter given to the leader, but it was enough to get Canada to withdraw from the agency.
