No Small Feat: How to dispose of a dead whale


Two coastal towns Newfoundland and Labrador spent much of this week trying to figure out what to do with blue whales that drifted ashore -- both creatures dead on arrival. There's a long history of seaside communities struggling with this problem, and the solution is never easy or cheap. Day 6 producer Vanessa Greco, with assistance from Lindsay Bird of CBC Newfoundland and Labrador, bring together stories of dead whale disposal with varying degrees of success.
