Former Alberta psychiatrist Aubrey Levin is on trial for allegedly sexually abusing patients. Some of the evidence includes video recorded by a camera hidden in a patient's watch. Health providers are increasingly reporting
patients videotaping without their consent. Some hospitals are now considering bans. Sally Bean
is an ethicist with the Joint Centre of Bioethics at the University of Toronto, and she walks us through the issues.
Have you secretly recorded - or recorded in plain sight - your
experience in a hospital or health clinic? Do you think a ban should be
put in place? Tell us what you think by email (we're day6 at cbc dot ca), or on Facebook
