On Tuesday, Michigan voted on a ballot initiative that, if passed, would have forced any international border crossing project to go to a State-wide vote first. Canada is planning a new bridge connecting Detroit, Michigan to Windsor, Ontario. The owner of the existing Ambassador Bridge - Manuel Moroun, has spent millions opposing the bridge project, and championed the ballot initiative. Roughly 60% of voters rejected the ballot
