This week, a former inmate named Steven Simons and four HIV/AIDS advocacy groups filed a lawsuit against the federal government for failing to provide needle exchange programs in prisons. For perspective on the issue of safe injections in prison we spoke to Sandra Ka Hon Chu of the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and Jason Godin, Ontario Regional President for the Union of Canadian Correctional Officers.
