The Future of Rollercoasters


The rollercoaster is an unmistakable sound of summer. And it seems like every year amusement parks outdo themselves in devising ways to take our breath away. David Lipnicky says steep drops is just one of the latest trends.  Ian Bell, points to new three-winged coasters, like The Swarm.  Mark Cutmore leads a team of former air-force stunt pilots who tested it. Bob Rogers is designing the coaster of the future -- the Vomit Comet -- which rises to a peak of more than 800 ft, before descending backwards.  Click "Read More" for some great video.
