Gay Republicans at the National Convention

Listen

At next week's Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, delegates will adopt the party's official platform. It may be the most conservative platform yet: among the amendments, it rejects same sex marriage, and champions DOMA -- The Defence of Marriage Act -- which defines marriage as the union of a man and a woman.  This, even with hard work from Log Cabin Republicans.  The gay rights advocacy group participated in the platform building process for the first time.  R. Clarke Cooper is the executive director.
