Halloween is as much about the candy as it is about the things that go bump in the night. 

But for many adults it's quite possibly the guiltiest of all pleasures, which may be why it has such a rich cultural history.

Rutgers University's Samira Kawash, the candy professor, spoke to us about where all this candy comes from... especially candy corn.
