This Tuesday, a group of seven men - six prominent seismologists and one government official - will be tried for the crime of manslaughter in Italy, accused of failing to adequately warn the public before an earthquake struck in the city of L'Aquila in 2009. Nicola Nosengo of Nature magazine spoke to Brent about the case from Rome.
