"Trouble In The Camera Club" is a new collection of photographs taken by musician Don Pyle during the hey-day of punk rock in the late 1970's and early '80's. Don was a music fan who snuck into clubs to see The Ramones, Iggy Pop, Blondie, and Teenage Head, and developed his shots in his high school camera club darkroom. The collection is a great kid's-eye-view of an amazing moment in rock 'n' roll. Here's a sneak peak of the book: photos of The Diodes, The Viletones, Jimmy Zero of The Dead Boys, and The Ugly, all from 1977. We have two copies of the book to give away - if you'd like to be in on the draw, just email us at Day6@CBC.ca with the subject line "Trouble In The Camera Club" and we'll pick a random winner by Friday. Thanks to Don Pyle and ECW Press.
