Life After A Mass Shooting: A Columbine Survivor's Story

Listen

At least 12 people were killed and 59 injured after a gunman attacked a crowded theatre in suburban Denver just miles from the site of the mass shooting at Columbine High School in 1999. Sam Granillo is a survivor of that massacre, and he also knew people inside the Colorado theatre during the shooting this Friday. Piya Chattopadhyay spoke to Sam about his documentary film in progress, Columbine: Wounded Minds. A fund-raising event for Sam's film is planned in Seattle on Tuesday, July 24, details here.
