Conne River chief Mi'sel Joe is calling for Beothuk remains at the National Museum of Scotland to be repatriated. During a recent visit to Scotland, Mi'sel Joe spoke with museum officials about bringing the remains of Demasduit and her husband Nonosabusut back to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Chief Mi'sel Joe is Ramona's guest and we'll be asking if you think he has a chance of succeeding.

Bariatric surgery, or stomach-stapling, as it used to be called, is one way to help people with obesity who are having health problems. Here in Nfld and Labrador, more than 700 people are waiting for an assessment to see if they should have the operation. We're throwing the phone-in open to your questions about bariatric surgery; you can put them to Jenn Deon, who has gone through the procedure, and MUN Associate Professor Laurie Twells, who heads up a research program in bariatric surgery.
