Laaaaaadies (and gentlemen): your judges for Cover Me Canada have been announced! And let me tell you, it's a hot bunch.

Showman and pop superstar Jordan Knight, renowned songstress Deborah Cox as well as star-maker and veteran producer Ron Fair will serve up their expertise as a dynamic panel of judges. With Nicole Appleton as the host, we've got a blistering season of spectable ahead of us!

Beginning Sunday, September 18 at 9:00pm ET (9:30 NT), eight finalist acts (to be announced) will perform live in a bid to win the opportunity of a lifetime: a $100,000 cash prize and a recording contract for their first original single to be released by Universal Music Canada.

Now, let's break down each of our experts:

Jordan Knight
Jordan Knight: The Showman
Swoon all you want; Jordan Knight has a plethora of industry success in his back pocket. As a member of New Kids on the Block, Jordan achieved a level of global pop stardom that few have seen, selling over 70 million albums and paving the way for boy bands like Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC. As a solo artist, he's sold over 1.5 million albums and is hot off the trail of a sold-out NKOTB/BSB arena tour. BAM. And to boot: JK is a dual Canadian/US citizen! The more you know.

Deborah Cox
Deborah Cox: The Songstress
Born in Toronto, raised in Scarborough, R&B siren Deborah Cox was discovered by industry mogul Clive Davis when she was singing backup for Celine Dion. Since then she went on a rampage of international success and became one of the top R&B voices in the game. er 1998 #1 smash single "Nobody's Supposed To Be Here" ruled the Billboard R&B charts for a record 14 weeks. And no big deal, but she's had ten #1 hits on Billboard's Dance chart and has collected three JUNO Awards.
