Health Canada on Thursday issued a recall for 6,397 EvenFlo Majestic high chairs because caps and screws on the chairs can come loose, presenting a fall and choking danger for children.
The recall affects high chairs made before Jan. 23, 2007, with the model numbers:
- 3001395.
- 3001713.
- 3001719CA.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has also issued a recall for the products, which were made in China.
The company has learned of 143 related incidents, including eight incidents involving injuries, in Canada. Health Canada has received two reports of incidents; one involved minor injury.
Caregivers should stop using the high chair and should contact the company for a free repair kit.
