Pier 1 Imports recalls tea light holders over fire hazard

Pier 1 Imports is recalling 3,000 tea light holders in Canada and 61,500 in the U.S. because the flame from the tea light could ignite the holder.
Pier 1 Imports, Inc. in the United States has received three reports of the tea light holders burning, with no reported injuries. One of the three incidents occurred in Canada.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these tea light holders.
Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled tea light holder and return it to the nearest Pier 1 Imports, Inc. store for a full refund or merchandise credit.
