Horizon Fitness Elliptical Trainers recalled for foot pedal

About 125 Horizon Fitness Elliptical Trainers have been recalled because foot pedal can become disengaged, posing a slip and fall hazard to users.
The products were sold at Canadian Tire stores across Canada from October 2009 to December 2009.
Horizon Fitness has received reports of foot pedal disengagements with no reported injuries. Consumer are advised to stop using the elliptical machines immediately and contact Horizon Fitness toll-free at 1-800-962-3596 or visit the company's website.
