Vancouver-themed decorative glazed ceramic wall plates have been recalled after testing found the glaze contained excessive lead and cadmium levels.
Health Canada was concerned that the plates, although decorative, could mistakenly be used for food.About
6,740 of the recalled plates were sold at Natural Color Productions stores across Canada between May 2006 and January 2010.Neither Natural Color Productions nor Health Canada has received report of illness or injury to Canadians as related to the use of these plates.
Consumers are advised to return the plates to Natural Color Productions or exchange them for a corrected product.
