Costco recalls LED lighted bears and moose over poor wiring

Costco has recalled LED lighted polar bear and moose outdoor decorations over a risk of poor wiring.
About 1,779 units of the moose have been sold across Canada, with seven reports of cords burning, smoking or catching fire. About 590 polar bears were sold in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, with six reports of cords burning, smoking or catching fire.
The products were sold between mid-August and the end of November, 2009. No personal injuries or property damage was reported other than to the product itself.
Consumers can return their recalled products to Costco for a full refund or call 1-800-463-3783 for more information.
