KookSoother teethers recalled over possible bacterial contamination
- November 18, 2009 4:01 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
Health Canada has recalled about 3,600 gel-filled KoolSoother teethers after testing found bacterial contamination in some.
The teethers are made in China by Nuby and sold as Wal-marts nationally between April and August 2009. They come in three distinct shapes and colours: frosty green monkey, frosty pink rabbit, and frosty blue teddy bear.
The bacteria generally does not cause illness but can affect children with weakened immune systems.
