Cotton Hoodies recalled over drawstring

This recall involves "Very Nice" hooded sweatshirts made in China by Quiksilver Inc. They're sold in girls' sizes under the brand name "Roxy Girl".

About 495 of the recalled products were sold by various children's department stores across Canada between May and August 2009.

The recalled products have a zipper in the front and a drawstring at the waist that could pose an entrapment hazard to children. The word "ROXY" is printed on the front.

Neither Quiksilver Inc. nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these jackets.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and should either remove the drawstrings from the hoodies to eliminate the hazard, or return the hoodies to the place of purchase or to Quiksilver for a full refund.
