Deli meat warning over listeria monocytogenes expanded

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is updating its warning not to consume certain Delstar and Compliments sliced ready-to-eat deli meats because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The update gives expanded information about where the meats were sold.
Deli meats bearing establishment number 308 and a best-before date between 09AU26 (Aug. 26, 2009) and 09OC01 (Oct. 1, 2009), inclusive, are affected by this alert.
The affected products have been distributed in Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, New Brunswick and Labrador. However, they may have been distributed nationally.
There have been no reported illnesses.
