About 20,000 wooden bunk beds imported and sold by Big Lots Stores Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, are being recalled because some support slats and side supports railing could break, posing a risk the bunk bed might collapse and people might fall.

There have been 14 reported incidents of the bunk beds' support slats cracking or breaking. Four people have received minor injuries.

The recall includes wooden bunk beds with a three-step ladder. Model numbers WP-9108-1 and WP-9108-2 are included in this recall. The model number can be found on a sticker on the bunk bed's interior panel of the headboard or on the footboard.

The beds were sold exclusively at Big Lots stores from May 2008 through February 2009. They were priced at about $300.

Consumers are being advised to immediately stop using the bunk beds and contact Big Lots to return the defective parts and receive a free repair kit.
