- August 5, 2009 3:53 PM
- By Peter Hadzipetros
The CPSC is recalling paper towel dispensers made by Global Plastics Ltd. because the dispenser’s electric board can overheat posing a fire hazard.
Two incidents have been reported but no injuries.
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and remove the batteries.
The dispenser will operate in a mechanical mode. Consumers should contact Global Plastics for instructions on how to receive a replacement dispenser.
