CFIA warns of undeclared almond, egg, milk, peanut and soy in Lotte brand snacks

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people with allergies to almond, egg, milk, peanut and soy not to consume certain Lotte brand snack foods. These products contain allergens that are not declared on the label.
All codes of the following Lotte snack foods, imported from South Korea, are affected by this alert.
· Kancho snack, 50 grams, with a UPC code of 8 801062 247417.
· Kancho snack, 200 g, with a UPC code of 8 801062 247578.
· Margaret cookies, 228 g, with a UPC code of 8 801062 248537.
Product information can be found on the package and the sticker applied for the Canadian market.
The snacks are known to have been distributed in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. However, they may also have been distributed nationally.
